Bermulalah episod where hubby balik lambat, no weekend hols and susah nak amik cuti..
Nampaknya it's going to be just the two of us la Irys!!

Plans and Accomplishment

Before I delivered Irys, I've made a list of plan that I want to do during my confinement. They are as follows;

1. Watch DVDs - Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, Ugly Betty, Charmed (final searies)
   
2. Update blog

Tapi malangnya, I didn't manage to complete any of those. Update blog tu ada la kadang2.. tp during my confinement I developed a new routine and it wasn't as "free and easy" as I thought it would be. Instead of watching the DVDs, I ended up watching sinetron and TV series kat TV dari jam 2.30pm - 7.30pm.

And now, my "holiday" is almost over. Next week will be my last week of holiday and I'm due to be back to work by 2nd June. Sedih aje rasa nak tinggalkan Irys kat rumah. And what have I accomplished throughout my 2 months' leave?

1. Watch my baby grow
   
2. Watch the ending of Liontin and Bella series.
   

FYI, I took extra 3 weeks of unpaid leave. I'm supposed to be back to work by last week but Irys was still so small back then. And she suffered quite serious reflux. So I had to make sure that she is well fed. This week she's getting better and berat pun dah naik to 3.7kg. And she starting to take breastmilk from bottle, provided I'm not around. First time I saw her feeding through bottle, sayu je rasa hati. But I know, its for the best. Takkan nak berenti keje pulak kan?

And did I manage to reduce my weight sama macam before pregnant dulu? Unfortunately no, the 1 kg is so difficult to reduce!!! Sigh!

Balik kampung..

After 2 months, finally Irys made her first trip back to Penang, kampung Daddy dia di Kepala Batas. Throughout our 4-hrs journey, Irys has been such an angel. She slept throughout the journey and bangun just untuk minum susu. Before sampai Kepala Batas, we decided to stay one night in Penang Island so we stayed in Holiday Inn. It was Irys' first time staying in a hotel, and our first time staying in a hotel with Irys. Ingatkan it would be a problem since Irys' nyer tempat tido take a lot of space (for a standard double, tak muat untuk 3 of us). Nasib baik the room is spacious. There were 2 double bed in the room so one bed for Daddy and one bed for Mummy n Irys.


"Mummy, syok nyer tido hotel..."
